Ústa zalepená medem / Lips covered in honey

from S/t (2012) by The Sin of Lilith

lyrics

Někdy je snažší napsat na papír slova,
která je těžké vyslovit,

Sometimes it’s easier to write words down on a paper,
which are hard to say,

Slova řečená jen tak, nemají žádný význam.
A někdy, znamenají víc , než si přiznám

Words said at random with no meaning.
And sometimes these mean more than I admit…

Možná jen ucpat ústa a zastavit myšlenky.
Na pravdu, která je rozpitá až na dně sklenky.

Perhaps just stuff up the mouth and halt thoughts.
For truth, spilled over bottom of glass.

Někdy si přiznám, že mám jen strach.
Strach z toho co je v mých představách,
snech a obavách.

Sometimes I admit I am just frightened.
Fear of what is in my imagination,
Dreams and doubts.

Co vyslovit by znamenalo začít dít,
bez šance to zastavit.

That said would mean to begin to happen.
With no chance of stopping it.

Strach z toho co by se mohlo stát pak.
Ale víc strach z toho, že by se nastalo už nikdy nic.

Fear of what would could happen next.
But rather fear of anything happening ever again.

Někdy je snazší napsat na papír slova, která je těžké vyslovit,
zvláště když jsou ústa zalepená medem.

Sometimes it’s easier to write words down on paper, which are hard to say.
Especially when lips are covered in honey.
